My Why
Becoming a mother to twins in 2018 changed everything. Overnight, I was plunged into the world of baby gear, endless decisions, and the deep desire to give my children the very best start in life. But with that came an overwhelming sense of guilt — was I doing enough? Were the toys they had educational enough? Stimulating enough? Was I offering enough variety? And how could I possibly afford all the “must-haves” without cluttering our home or draining our budget?
Like so many parents, I found myself in a constant cycle of buying new toys, hoping each one would hold their interest or support the next developmental leap — only to see it tossed aside in a matter of weeks. The pressure to keep up, both emotionally and financially, was exhausting. And the clutter? It was another daily reminder of how unsustainable this cycle felt.
I started to wonder: What if there was a better way?
That’s when the idea of St. Albert Toy Share was born — a toy library built on the belief that play should be simple, enriching, and accessible for all families. Every child deserves access to high-quality, age-appropriate toys that support their growth — without it becoming a financial or environmental burden for their parents.
This platform was designed with that in mind — to ease the mental load of parenting, reduce clutter and waste, and give families the freedom to explore, learn, and play… together.
Whether you’re a new parent navigating your first year, or a seasoned caregiver trying to keep up with a growing child’s changing interests, I see you. And I built this for you.
Because parenting is hard enough — playtime shouldn’t be.
