Borrow Toys Instead of Buying Them
At The Toy Share, we believe every child deserves access to toys that help them learn, grow, connect, and play in the way that works best for them.
We exist to make high-quality developmental toys and equipment accessible to families, therapists, educators, and childcare providers in Alberta. Children can explore new skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of play without the cost and clutter of constantly buying new toys.
Whether you’re looking for everyday play, sensory support, fine motor activities, imaginative play, or specialized developmental resources, The Toy Share offers a flexible way to borrow the right toys for your child or the children you support.
Families can enjoy convenient doorstep delivery and pickup in the greater Edmonton area, or visit us during scheduled Toy Share hours at the Family Resource Center to browse and swap toys in person.
Our growing collection includes developmentally supportive toys for children from infancy through the preschool years, with a focus on creating an increasingly inclusive library that reflects the diverse ways children play, learn, and develop.
Memberships are simple and flexible, no cancellation fees, no pressure, and no long-term commitment. Just borrow, play, learn, and swap when you’re ready for something new.
By joining The Toy Share, you’re not only saving money and reducing clutter, you’re helping build a community where more children have access to the toys and equipment that help them thrive.
Every child deserves the opportunity to play, learn, and grow.
Hi! I’m Kate, the founder of the Toy Share, and I’m so happy you’re here.
As a mom and lifelong lover of play, I know firsthand how magical it is to watch our little ones discover the world through toys. But I also know how quickly our homes can fill up with outgrown toys, plastic clutter, and guilt over waste. That’s why I created this toy library — to offer families a more intentional, joyful, and sustainable way to play.
The Toy Share is about more than just toys. It’s about connection, community, and creating a simpler path for parents who want to provide enriching experiences without overconsumption.
Whether you’re here out of curiosity, looking to simplify your toy rotation, or wanting to make more eco-conscious choices, I’m truly grateful you’ve found us. I hope this library brings ease to your parenting journey and lots of giggles to your home.
Warmly,
Kate
